Grace and Rob: Downtown Paducah Riverfront Engagement Session

Welcome to SJP Weddings 2021!!

I am so excited to be back doing weddings again this year! I am ready to go back to capturing all the love and celebrations. Last year made me miss it and now I am even more excited to have a pretty full wedding calendar especially this fall!

Since there are weddings on the way, engagement sessions are what we are into right now along with family and senior springtime sessions too. Because we basically “missed” last spring due to COVID, I could not be more excited to have all of the spring time portraits this year!

This spring “kicked off” (you’ll get that hint later) with Grace and Rob’s Easter weekend engagement session in Paducah, Kentucky. Late last summer and last fall I photographed several senior sessions in Paducah, but having an engagement session there was definitely something to look forward to! I LOVE love, so every engagement and couples session I get is such a treat!

Now you can ask anybody that has had a Paducah session with me and I’m sure they will tell you there is definitely going to be some walking involved! I gave Grace a heads up to bring comfortable shoes because I already knew we would be walking a lot. I love the mural wall, the grassy areas in front of the Carson Center, Second Street alleys and textures and of course Market House Square. It’s a lot to cover and it’s painful to do in heels or just uncomfortable shoes.....I guess we can take this moment to thank the wedge for coming back into style though.

Grace and Rob are too cute y’all. Yes, I’m going to gush a bit.

I love their story.

I love their Payton Manning jerseys.

I’m also thrilled they brought their two fur babies along!

They are getting married this fall at one of my bucket list venues in Paducah and I can’t wait! Neither can they I'm sure!
